BMH Opens New Cancer Treatment Center
The 2nd floor of the new BMH Outpatient Building opened on August 11th, ahead of schedule. The new top floor provides space for cancer treatments in the spacious and comfortable new Oncology/Hematology Unit, along with the Comprehensive Care Clinic, and the Breast Care Program.
Patients coming for chemotherapy will be treated in a welcoming space offering privacy and expansive views. Patients who come for consultations with the various BMH oncologists will also experience comfortable new surroundings.
Patients coming for the first time will need to report to Patient Registration on the ground floor of the new Outpatient Building. You may access the Outpatient Building either by the glassed-in entrance off the main front parking lot of the hospital, or by driving around to the back side of the hospital and entering through the covered access. Plenty of parking spaces are available on either side of the convenient, covered entryway. Once inside, and after you have registered if you are a new patient, there are two elevators to get to the 2nd floor. A volunteer will be stationed at the information desk on the ground floor of the new building to direct people to their destinations.
